The Dogecoin-Ethereum bridge is a system that allows Doges to be moved from the Dogecoin blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain and back. Dogecoin tokens on Ethereum can be used like any other ERC-20 token. i.e. they can be invested in DeFi protocols and used to buy NFTs.
Back in 2015 Vitalik Buterin wrote a Scrypt hash validation function in Serpent. We are committed to complete his work and deliver a secure dogecoin-ethereum bridge.
We want to enable dogecoin users to use DeFi, NFTs and all the Dapps available on the Ethereum platform.
The bridge is controlled by a DAO. The Custodian stores the locked doges and the Merchant does minting and burning.
